| Tilburg has the biggest pop complex in the Netherlands. A brand new building with three halls that can accommodate a total of around three thousand people. But what gives 013 its unique character, in particular, are the practice areas, the accommodations for musicians, and the recording facilities.
"Culture as driving force of the economy, surely that is a wonderful thing for the city. And it suits Tilburg so well. The people here are not stylishly dressed theatre-goers, they prefer to do things themselves. They would rather pick up a guitar and make music. That is precisely how '013' came into existence. It is not something that was thought up by the municipality; the initiative came from the people of Tilburg."

| Going out on the town or taking a pleasant walk in the country; that too is part of Tilburg modern industrial city. The region offers a surprisingly large number of options in this respect.
Tilburg is surrounded on all sides by marvellous woods and scenic areas; a green environment where peace and quiet reign supreme. Fine examples are the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, the fens around Oisterwijk, the Regte Heide (heath land), and the marshland De Brand in Udenhout. In addition, the city has many parks and public gardens, including a number of beautiful classical parks
Gigantic funfair
The famous Tilburg funfair is the largest in Europe. Two weeks of fun and thrills right at the height of summer; all the latest attractions and the nostalgia of fortune tellers and the try-your-strength machine.

| For the fourth time in succession, this year the announcement of the BOV-Trophy was held in Tilburg. The title of this event was 'How to be succesfull in a decreasing market'. The prize was won by Sweegers Concrete Elements mainly by being very flexible to and in thinking with their customers. |
